A fluid sample is pulled through a membrane filter and the filter is placed on growth media and incubated. After the prescribed incubation period, colonies are counted and reviewed for appropriate morphology. MICRO VACC Pump is ideal for microbiological evaluations of aqueous samples by MF Technique. The MICRO VACC is designed to use Diaphragm Based Self priming action to draw the sample through the filter and send filtrate directly to drain or waste collection.
